Constitution

The objectives of the Newfoundland Club of Northern California are simply:

To promote the breeding, understanding, and appreciation of purebred Newfoundland dogs
To uphold the AKC-approved standard as the measure of excellence for the breed
To support and encourage friendly competition in dog shows, obedience trials, and other events
To organize AKC-sanctioned shows, trials, and specialty events
To collaborate with the Newfoundland Club of America on shared goals
To encourage activities that help owners enjoy and understand the Newfoundland breed while benefiting the dogs and the breed as a whole
